Who is behind Jeremy

My name is Theodor. When I moved to Brazil in 2023, I didn't know the language at all and couldn't afford tutors. I learned Portuguese myself: through flashcards, videos, and reference books. This process was slow and chaotic — no single app provided the full picture.

Jeremy is the tool I desperately lacked at the beginning of my journey. My goal is to give everyone the opportunity to master the language in one convenient app, without intrusive ads, expensive subscriptions, or reliance on the internet.

Language shouldn't be a privilege

For refugees and migrants, language is a matter of survival: it is necessary for processing documents, finding a job, and getting medical help. Expensive subscription services are often inaccessible to them.

That is why Jeremy's interface is fully translated into multiple languages — both widely spoken global languages and those used by the most vulnerable populations. Even if you don't speak English, you can comfortably learn Portuguese in your native language.
